The Aergon Air grip is shaped for comfort and control, with a fully rubberized grip head that delivers reliable contact on steep descents. On climbs, the grip extension provides an extra hand position for efficient progress.
The secure fit is enhanced by a Skin Strap 5.0 loop strap, letting you tailor the hold so you’re never fighting the pole when you need a stable stance.
Fast, reliable adjustments are a hallmark of Makalu FX Carbon. The folding pole uses the ELD external locking system for quick opening and closing with the push of a button, plus the Speed Lock 2 Plus external clamp offers strong hold and easy micro-adjustments on the move.
Terrain-ready details include a Trekking 2.0 basket to prevent sinking on soft ground and a Flex Tip for precise pole positioning across varied surfaces. The pole ships with a compact Folding Pole Bag for ultra-light transport.
